FAQ
LLP Registration — common questions
What is the difference between an LLP and a Private Limited Company?
Both give limited liability. An LLP has fewer compliances and no mandatory audit below certain limits, while a Private Limited Company is better if you plan to raise equity investment.
Is an LLP Agreement mandatory?
Yes. The LLP Agreement must be filed with the MCA in Form 3 within 30 days of incorporation. It is included in our package.
What are the annual filings for an LLP?
Every LLP files Form 11 (annual return) and Form 8 (statement of accounts and solvency) each year, along with its income tax return.
Can a Partnership Firm be converted into an LLP?
Yes. An existing partnership firm can be converted into an LLP. Talk to us for the process.
