Founder Salahkar (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website foundersalahkar.com and related advisory services for startup registration, compliance, trademark, and government subsidy support.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through enquiry forms, WhatsApp, email, and phone; why we collect it; and the choices available to you. By submitting a form or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Identity & contact: full name, mobile number, email address, city / location.
  • Enquiry details: service interest (e.g. company registration, subsidies, trademark), message content, and any documents you voluntarily share.
  • Business context: startup stage, entity type, or eligibility-related details you share during consultation.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Technical data such as browser type, device type, approximate location (IP-based), referring page, and pages visited, typically via hosting logs or analytics tools if enabled.
  • Cookies or similar technologies required for site function (e.g. session security). Non-essential cookies are used only if you consent where required.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us for deletion.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data to:

  • Respond to “Get a Quote”, Contact Us, and eligibility enquiries.
  • Provide advisory services on registration, licences, compliance, trademarks, and startup subsidies / MP Startup Policy 2025 applications.
  • Call, WhatsApp, or email you about your request and related service updates.
  • Improve our website, forms, and service quality.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
  • Prevent fraud, spam, and misuse of our forms.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their marketing.

4. Google Sheets & Lead Storage

When you submit a “Get a Quote” or Contact form, your enquiry may be exported to a Google Sheet controlled by Founder Salahkar (via a secure Google Apps Script webhook), in addition to email notification to our team.

Typical fields stored: timestamp, name, mobile, email, city, service interest, message, form context (home / contact), and source URL. Access to that sheet is limited to authorised team members who handle client enquiries.

Google processes data under its own terms as a service provider. You can request correction or deletion of your lead row by emailing us (see Contact below).

5. Sharing With Third Parties

We may share data only when necessary:

  • Service providers: website hosting, email delivery, Google Workspace / Sheets, WhatsApp Business (Meta), and similar tools that help us operate.
  • Government / statutory portals: only with your instruction, when filing registrations, DPIIT, GST, trademark, or subsidy applications on your behalf.
  • Legal requirement: if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

6. Data Retention

Lead and enquiry data is retained for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver services, maintain business records, and meet legal requirements, typically up to 36 months for inactive enquiries unless a longer period is required for an active engagement or compliance. You may request earlier deletion where legally permitted.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable Indian law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as applicable), you may request:

  • Access to personal data we hold about you
  • Correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion of enquiry data (where we are not required to retain it)
  • Withdrawal of consent for marketing communications (service-related messages about an active matter may still be sent)

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards (access control on lead sheets, HTTPS on the website, restricted team access). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive documents over unsecured channels unless we advise a secure method.

9. Third-Party Links

Our site may link to government portals, payment gateways, or partner sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for those sites.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the website after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
