MP Startup Benefits

MP Startup Policy 2025: benefits, eligibility and how to apply

Quick answer

The Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy & Implementation Scheme 2025 gives DPIIT-recognised startups registered in MP a seed fund of up to ₹30 lakh through incubators, 15% (18% for women, SC, ST, PwD and transgender founders) assistance on funding raised, 5% interest subvention on bank loans, and reimbursement of patent, prototype, rent, advertising and event costs. Manufacturing startups get extra employment, training and electricity incentives. The first step is DPIIT recognition.

The Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy & Implementation Scheme 2025 was launched at the Global Investors Summit 2025 in Bhopal. It is the state’s main programme for supporting new businesses, and it covers both money (grants, assistance and subsidies) and operating costs (rent, patents, marketing). This guide explains every benefit in simple words, who can apply, and the exact steps to follow.

Who is eligible?

  • A Private Limited Company, LLP or registered Partnership Firm — proprietorships are not eligible.
  • DPIIT recognition under Startup India. This is the entry ticket for almost every benefit.
  • Registered office or unit in Madhya Pradesh, with MP GST registration.
  • Less than 10 years old, with turnover below ₹100 crore in every financial year.
  • Working on innovation, or on improving a product, service or process.

How to apply — step by step

  1. Register the business as a Private Limited Company, LLP or registered partnership in MP. Company registration is the most common choice for funded startups.
  2. Get DPIIT recognition on the Startup India portal. See our Startup India registration service.
  3. Register on the MP Startup Portal with your DPIIT certificate and MP GST.
  4. Apply scheme by scheme. Each benefit has its own form, documents and timeline — for example, the seed fund goes through an incubator, while rent and patent support are reimbursements.
  5. Track and reply. Departments often ask for clarifications. Late replies are the most common reason applications stall.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Applying as a proprietorship — it is not eligible.
  • Registering the company outside MP, or without MP GST.
  • Claiming reimbursement without proper invoices and payment proof.
  • Assuming the maximum amount is guaranteed — every amount is a ceiling, and approval depends on review.
